Last week I quoted a Harvard Business Review that discussed manager influence on quiet quitting. As I was reviewing the graphic for another article, I noticed some more information that was valuable, although not part of the original article. Take a look at the original below.

The graphic is designed to call our attention to the rating of a manger and it’s influence on quiet quitting. But there is another fact which shows a greater loss for an organization – “willing to go the extra mile.” This is a devestating statement. Below, I have grouped the bars representing 90-100, 50-59th, and 1st -9th percentiles. Note how dramatically the percentages in this category are reduced from 100th to 9th. This gaining of this engagement (or it’s loss) is what separates a functioning team from a high performance team.
